B1001 Band Sawmills
Logosol B1001 The new generation log band saw with power and capacity
- Logosol B1001 is an extremely stable band sawmill that gives you professional capacity. The heavy-duty saw rail is designed to easily handle the weight of the huge logs that the sawmill can handle. The sawmill is Swedish-made and has a revolutionary design.
- Saw 15' 9" (4.8 meters) long logs with up to 39 1/4" (1001 mm) in diameter! The sawmill can also be extended. With fixed steps, you easily saw the dimensions you want on the board, just as quickly and accurately every time. The sturdy tubular steel log bed is spacious and suitable for installation directly on the ground or on a trailer. A tubular construction optimizes torsional rigidity, resulting in a light and strong rail that stays straight even under the largest logs.
- Log clamps with sturdy handles and robust design fix the log with great force without damaging the wood. The feature locks just as well on first cuts as when sawing the last thin board. Patented.
- The sophisticated design provides vibration-free and precise sawing. The rail and log bed are well-designed, and the steel construction is specially adapted for sawing directly on the ground.
- Best-in-class band blade wheels that blow out chips and keep things clean and tidy, both inside the saw head and on the job site.
- Smart choices for a sawmill experience customized for your needs. You can choose from several different motor options depending on your preferences.

Simple adjustments
The B1001 is easier to setup and use compared to similar brands in the same class. An big advantage is the height adjustment which is adjusted by fixed steps. That ensures that you make a quick and exact adjustment of the sawhead every time. A full turn is always 1” and you add another 1/8” for the kerf. On the scale of the height adjustment there is a Last Cut-Indicator that saves where your last cut was made which works as a clear reference before the next cut is made. That allows you to work quickly and comfortably with an accurate cutting result.
Powerful log clamps
The log clamps are equipped with sturdy handles and a robust design which ensures that the log is held in place with a great deal of force without leaving deep marks in the wood. They work equally well on round logs as well as on a square block that is cut into boards.
Reliable rail
A standard equipped B1001 can cut logs that are up to 15' 9" (4.8 m) in length and up to 3' 3 1/4" (1 m) in diameter. If you are going to cut longer logs, the sawmill can be extended to any length. The sturdy rail frame is generously strengthened and designed to be placed directly on the ground. If the sawmill needs to be moved it can be loaded on a normal braked trailer and towed to the location where it will be used.
A tube construction optimizes the torsional rigidity. This gives you a lightweight but strong rail frame that stays perfectly straight even under the load of the largest logs.
Bandwheels
The bandwheels are made out of alloy and are combined fan wheels that cool the sawbade and work as an air braker. The fan wheels blow the sawdust out of the cover and help keep the sawhead clean which is an advantage when changing the blade or when other maintenance services are made on the machine.
Power adds capacity
The powerful motor give you extra capacity. The 23 hp petrol engine from Briggs & Stratton is for professional usage.
The Logosol LM410 XL Log House Moulder fits the rail of the B1001. The cutter block is 15 3/4" (400 mm) wide which allows for profiling large log house beams or just planing square beams. Extensions and other accessories can upgrade the B1001 to suit your business.
